Regional Information

The Ourcq is a French right bank tributary river of the Marne which flows in the departments of Aisne, Oise and Seine-et-Marne. The Ourcq valley constitutes the natural geographical border delimiting the Soissonnais in the North from the Orxois in the South.

It rises below Fère-en-Tardenois in the department of Aisne. This small river follows a wide valley and joins the Marne upstream of Meaux, between Congis-sur-Thérouanne and Mary-sur-Marne, after a course of 86.5 km. Pinterest
